About

Ohana Creatives came to life on January 6th, 2020, in a rather spontaneous moment. My path to entrepreneurship wasn't straightforward or instinctive. I never felt I had the "business gene" that my grandparents and mother seemed to possess. But fate had different plans. When I first tried my hand at jewelry making, I had no clue how to create jewelry, source materials, or manage a business. Then the pandemic hit, and being out of work gave me the perfect chance to dive into my creative side. That’s when I discovered resin and fell head over heels for it. Over the years, I've branched out into other art forms like candle making and now 3D casting. I’m often amazed at how far I’ve come, and I hope to keep surprising both myself and my customers with the new art I create

In their Footsteps : Honoring my Grandparents

As I take the next step in my journey and launch by website, to showcase everything that I have to offer under one roof. I would like to pay tribute to my Ammachi (grandmother) and Appacha (Grandfather), it was been 23 years since we lost them but I hold all my childhood memories so dear to my heart.

They were both such strong and resilient people of their time, raised 6 children while running their businesses together. Sadly, I did not have many years with them but I truly cherished the time I did have. On every milestone that I achieve I often picture them sitting on a fluffy cloud, dangling their legs, watching down on my achievements with a smile on their faces. I hope to have atleast half the fortitude as they did and lead a life that I can look back on and be proud of.
